Dear America, Vir Das Has A Different Take On "Super Bowl" - And We Can Relate

The Super Bowl night was all things amazing. The event that encapsulates excitement, entertainment, political activism, and celebrity culture, marks the end of the National Football League season. It's indeed one of the most significant events in the world, holding the attention of millions of football lovers across the globe. The 57th annual Super Bowl took place on February 12 (Sunday) wherein, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in a thrilling back-and-forth affair. Not to miss Rihanna's electrifying performance. However, don't you think the word “Super Bowl” has a resemblance to other things in your memory? Well, for comedian Vir Das, it holds a different meaning. Bringing a fun twist to it, Vir Das shared his foodie take on "Super Bowl" on Twitter. Hint: Pun intended.

Vir Das shared a picture of what looked like a sumptuous biryani cooked with meat and a whole lot of spices. The spicy rice dish topped with coriander leaves seemed absolutely appetising. For the caption, Vir Das wrote, “Dear America. THIS…is a Super Bowl.”   

The post became an instant hit on the social media platform. People have given a thumbs up to Vir Das' food take on “Super Bowl.”
