A hot cup of tea is the ultimate energy drink for many of us. It helps us kick start the day and also bond with someone who shares our love for the beverage. The ingredients used in tea may be simple but their combination results in a soul-satisfying drink that has been pleasing us for ages. And, tea is something for which we just can't hide our love. True, right? But, we are not alone as veteran actress Zeenat Aman too seems to be a big-time tea fan. The star, who recently made her Instagram debut, shared an old advertisement of her for a tea brand which was shot in Agra. In the photo of the ad for Brooke Bond Taj Mahal tea, Zeenat Aman is seen holding a cup of tea with the Taj Mahal in the backdrop.

According to the 71-year-old actress, she featured in the advertisement at the age of 16 and was “very earnest about her new job”. Zeenat Aman shared that she and her photographer, Obi, were dedicated and shot at different locations at the Taj Mahal “in a quest for the perfect image”. The veteran added that she wore her own earrings for the ad and still have them to this day.

The post soon garnered a lot of attention on the platform and prompted several reactions, especially from tea lovers.
“Till this day, we prefer Taj Mahal tea over anything,” a user wrote. Another person asked, “Beauty with a cup of tea, can we know the price of a 1kg pack of Taj tea if you remember, please?”
A person spoke on everyone's behalf when he asked “was there really some tea in the cup?” For others, the advertisement evoked nostalgia. “First is always special. Etched in memory forever. Beautiful,” a comment read.
